Almost a year later.....

I am now working at the University of Idaho in the Department of Civil Engineering. It has been a very very very very long time since I've posted, and while I don't feel guilty, I definitely feel I could be a little more consistent. I had my Wednesday knitting lunch with some of my knitting friends from other departments, and I DO so love other knitters. One person was knitting (yet another) pair of socks, I'm still finishing up a pair of mittens as we're moving into spring, and yet another lady was working on a pair of felted slippers that un-felted are so huge she was wearing it like a hat at one point. I still need to post many of my finished projects. I made many hats this winter including a robot hat for my friend Cassie (with a limp antenna), an R2D2 hat for my oldest daughter Siobhan, a wool/silk blend hat for Lillian and a matching adult version for my friend Elise. I'm currently working on 1 pair of color-work socks, one lace scarf, and spinning up some worsted weight bfl (for those of you who aren't sheep people, that's wool from a blue face leicester). I wish I had more time to knit, and could exist without sleeping so I could be creative for longer periods of time, but alas...I'm getting older and get REALLY cranky without sleep.
